    3 Bot quhair despair, bene adwersare
    4 Nothing Is thair, Bot wofull End

    6 of venus quene, but conforting
    7 Be thame I wene, That mon sustene
    8 The kairis kene, of cupeid king

    10 But discrepance, withowt remeid
    11 Sic was my chance, in observance,
    12 but reco[m]pance, my lyfe to leid
